She was predeceased by: her children, Kirby Smith and Mary Smith; her grandson Devin Smith; her parents, Jeffrey Leblanc and Rose Leblanc; her sibling Rosette Salo (late Bert); and her stepsibling Aldege Leclaire (Doreen).
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Smith; her children, Virginia "Vicki" Gainer (Eldon), Vivian Bortnak (late Terry), Jason Smith (Caroline), Rebecca "Bec" Duhamel (late Peter "Jack") and Ted Smith (Carrie); her grandchildren, Kim Gainer Fell (Bob), Brad Gainer (Melissa), Jessica Bortnak, Ashley McCulloch (Mark), Alexander Duhamel (Elaine), Ethan Smith (Chanel), Christopher Duhamel (Breanna), Vanessa Smith (Spencer), Colin Smith (Brooke) and Brooke Smith; and her great grandchildren, Kalle Gainer, Saryn Gainer, Knixen Smith and Jensen Smith.
