She was predeceased by: her son André; her great grandchild Brayon; her parents, Jean-Marc Martel and Jeanne Martel; and her sibling Claire.
She is survived by: her husband William "Willy" Simon; her children, Ernie (Tina), Leo-Paul (Tammy) and Gerald (Sylena); her grandchildren, Ben, Andre, Chanelle (Kyle), Sadie (Emerson), Sara, Jenny and Joshua; her great grandchildren, William, Myles, Blake, Eric, Carissa and Branden; and her siblings, Joseph (Allison), Raymond, Gerry (Cosimina), Suzane, Pierre (Sue), Gilles (Joanne), Danielle (Bill), Pauline (Paul), Joanne, Aurel (Natalie) and Gisèle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
