She was predeceased by: her parents, Napoléon Fortin and Diana Fortin; and her siblings, Jean Fortin (Marie-Ange), Simone Marquis (Gérard), Émile Fortin (Aline), George Fortin (Marina), Joseph Fortin (Eva), Fermin Fortin (Roselyne), Pierre Fortin (Richere), Marcellin Fortin (Annette), Bernadette Desbiens (Fernand) and Paul Fortin (Hélène). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
