It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Guthrie (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on July 16, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Audrey Guthrie (Guse) of Copper Cliff; and his parents, Andrew Guthrie and Pearl Guthrie. He is survived by: his children, Karen (James Fawcett) and Laurie (John Laverdure); his grandchildren, Matthew Fawcett, Ryan Fawcett (Ashley), Bethany Laverdure (David) and Kara Laverdure (Yanik); and his great grandchild Alexander Fawcett.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Elder Abuse Prevention Ontario.
