With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Donald Stevenson (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on June 1, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Walter Donald Stevenson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stevenson and Jean Stevenson; and his brothers, Harold and Bob. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his sons, Mark (Paulette) and Michael (Robbie); his grandchildren, Rachel, John (Sarah), David (Jenny), Samuel (Rachel), Timothy (Abigail), Grace and Bethany (Ian); his great grandchildren, Alex, Katie, Anna, Philip, Clarice, Gideon, Silas and Magnolia; and his sisters, Lois and Gwen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Berean Baptist Church (231 Bloor St, Sudbury, ON P3C2L1). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the Waters Cemetery (96 White Rd, Lively, ON P3Y1C3).
