He was predeceased by: his son James Hurd. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Kerr; his children, Sandy Wilkinson (Chad), Debbie Pakkala (Gregg), Richard Hurd and Kathy Dutcher; his grandchildren, Logan, Taylor, Brandy and Jamie (Risa); his brother Garry Kerr (Dawn); his sibling's children, Michael, Eddie, Michelle and Crystal; and his caregivers, Tara, Julie, Dawn, Dr. Koka, Dr. Kearney and Fred. He is also survived by his many relatives, friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fielding Memorial Park.
