He was predeceased by : his parents, Gordon Tait and Ruth Tait. He is survived by : his wife Anne Tait (Cole); his children, Lori (Dan Wendler) and Cory; his grandchildren, Brittney and James; and his siblings, Wanda, Bruce, Bob and Bill. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
