He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bannister and Nellie Bannister; his wives, Karen Bannister and Louise Bannister; and his sisters, Sara Jane Meisner (late Bob) and Elizabeth Soudant (late Frank).
He is survived by: his children, Kent (Jenn), Jody (Dan) and Drew (Katie); his sister Mary Roy (Ron); and his grandchildren, Owen, Erin, Abby, Carter, Brinn, Tatum and Emery. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Cooperative Funeral Home (222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, ON P3A1W5). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to The March of Dimes and ICAN.
