He was predeceased by: his wife Nina Hurteau; his children, David Hurteau (Penny) and Patricia Jean (Claude); his grandchildren, Laurie-Anne Istvandi (Laszlo), Kimberley McCraw (Darren), Timothy Jean (Shelly) and Carrie Hurteau (Clint); his great grandchildren, Codey (Kristin), Caitlyn (Brandon), Devon (Crystal), Scott (Chloe), Aaron (Charlie), Elizabeth, Sarah (Patrick) and Jaiden; his great great grandchildren, Sofi, Ryeden, Bastien and Theodore; his parents, John Hurteau and Elizabeth Hurteau; and his siblings, Dorothy (Darcy), Freda (Keith), Frances (Don), Shirley (Jack), Raymond (Esther), George and J. Hurteau.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Helen Hurteau. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
