He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Laplante and Mary Laplante; and his siblings, Maurice Laplante (late Ida) and Joyce "Bunny" Perras (late Jeoffre). He is survived by: his wife Estelle Laplante; his children, Michael Laplante (Leona) and Danielle Laplante; his stepchildren, André Lamothe (Martha), Robin Young (Cheryl), Sean Young (Kevina) and Angele Young (David); his grandchildren, James (Erin), Matt Jenny-Dee, Scott, Madison, Jordan, Amy (Alex), Trevor (Krystal) and Ryllie; his great grandchildren, Madelynn, Michael, Joel, Morgan, Leo, Lorelei, Tianna and Mélodie; and his sibling Darcy Laplante (late Diane). He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
