He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Evelyn; his brothers, Doug (Norma) and Ross (Marie); and his brothers-in-law, Bill and Bruce.
He is survived by: his spouse Pat Johnstone; his children, Brian (Karen), Nancy, Fred (Joanna), Richard (Kylie), Dennis (Shanna) and Steven (Juanita); his grandchildren, Derrick (Mel), Jaquie (Adam), Rebecca, Maddison (Cam), Jerico, Tori (Collin), Owen, Malcolm (Kristina), Quinn, Rylee, Jake (Abbie), Tali, Bella, Teagan (Myles), Pyper (Matthew), Arianna (Matthew), Reva, Leila, Kiera and Amelia; his siblings, Bob (Arleen) and Marilyn; and his sister-in-law Mary-Lou. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 14 Albert St N, Sundridge, ON P0A1Z0.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sundridge Zion United Church- Memorial Fund or a charity of choice would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
