Helmut Ludwig Krohmer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helmut Ludwig Krohmer (Sutton, Ontario), who passed away on October 3, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helmut Ludwig Krohmer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Krohmer (Schwanke) and Karl Krohmer; his wife Alice (Tetreault); and his in-laws, Ray (Elsie), Len (Linda), Armand (Karen) and Norm (Kathy).
He is survived by: his children, Karl of Baldwin and Michelle of Peterborough; his siblings, Erika (late Manfred), Erich (Kathe), Richard (Leni), Adele (Silo) and Helga (Klaus); and his in-laws, Gerry (Brenda), Vic (Kathryn), Claude (Sjanie) and Liette (Ernie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calendrier Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home (20846 Dalton Rd, Sutton West, ON L0E1R0). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Calendrier Briar Hill Cemetery (5500 Black River Rd, Georgina, ON L0E).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Make-A-Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
