Charles Moore Obituary

Passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, at Village Green Nursing Home, following a long and courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP).

Born on July 31, 1944, Charles was a man who truly defined the value of a hard day's work. As a dedicated Master Electrician, he took immense pride in his trade and spent his life keeping busy, always finding a project to tackle or a way to help others.

When he wasn't working, Charles was happiest in the great outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, and fishing, with his family or just going for a drive with his wife and best friend Renee.

Charles was the beloved husband of Britt Irene (Renee) Moore, with whom he shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. He was a devoted father to his children, Paul, Larry (Anita), Correen, and Connie (Wendell). He was the proud grandfather of Nicole (Gordy), Jordon, Miranda, Zackary (Haylee), and Jake, step-grandfather to Amanda (Nathan) and Danielle and the cherished great-grandfather of Ainsleigh, Keegan, and Miller and step great-grandfather to Elizabeth, Emerson and Maverick. He is also survived by his younger brother, Dwight.

Charles was predeceased by his parents, Edwin and Alice (Albertson) Moore; his brother, Harry; and his beloved grandchild, Angel Moore.

There will be a viewing from 10:30 - 12am and a memorial service will be held at 1pm on August 11, 2026, at Evangel Temple, 320 Bridge Street West, Napanee, Ontario. Graveside Service to follow at Piccadilly Cemetery, 4280 Areana Boundary Road, Central Frontenac, ON.
