He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Ruttan and Jessie Ruttan; his wife Valeria; and his brother Allan Ruttan. He is survived by : his daughters, Alison Davis (George) and Andrea Ruttan; and his grandchildren, Michael, Erin and Emily.
