Kenneth Clarence Lawson Obituary

He passed peacefully surrounded by family.

Beloved husband of 65 years to Marg. Proud and devoted father to Penny (Matt) and Ann-Marie, and was sadly predeceased by his sons Kenny and Randy (Margaret) who's memories he carried in his heart every day.

He was a cherished grandfather to David, Jamie-Lynn (Eric), Heidi (Spencer), Tie (Felicity) and Cole (Lyndsey).

Great grandfather to Camden, Braxden and Decklyn.

He's survived by his siblings Mary, Bruce and Glen, predeceased by parents Ulric and Fern, sisters Eleanor, Lois, Shirley and brother Ron.

Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Ken was a true family man and dedicated member of the Rideau Heights community.

He proudly supported local sports teams and events alike.

In 1972 Ken & Marg opened Ken & Marg's Grocery, which they ran together for 20 years.

Even after selling the store Ken remained a proud north end resident, never leaving the community he loved.

A celebration of Ken's life will be held Saturday June 21th from 2pm-5pm at the 560 Legion on Montreal St, We wish to extend our profound gratitude to all those who supported Ken and our family.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the KINGSTON Partners in Mission Food Bank in Ken's honor would be appreciated by the family.
