Beloved wife of the late Francis Weston Coulter. Cherished mother of Marlene Mack and Michael, Kathryn and Gary Coulter. Devoted grandmother to Jennifer Mack (Mackenzie Moffatt), Branden Coulter (Christa Ohlman) and Nicholas Coulter, and loving great-grandmother to Logan, Ellie and Abigail Moffatt. Dear sister to Edith (Jim) Kelly, Rita (late Ray) Truelove and Terry (Debbie nee Fleming) McCarthy.
Predeceased by infant son, Joseph, her parents Leo and Teresa (nee Gavin) McCarthy, and her brothers, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Gerald (Patricia nee Marcotte) McCarthy, Hugh (Marie nee Kelly) McCarthy, Ray Truelove, Helen Coulter, Joe (Marjorie nee Kelly) Coulter, Len (Ellen nee McKnight) Coulter, Jessie (Ed) Murphy, Marian (Frank) Hickey, Marjorie Coulter, Fidelis (Terry) O'Shea and Rita Coulter, and infant sister, Sheila McCarthy. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and friends.
Sincere thanks to Dr. Lawlor, Dr. Barr and Trillium staff, where she had been a resident for the past 10 years. Noreen enjoyed many gatherings throughout the years with dearly loved family and friends, playing euchre, watching Jeopardy, reading, doing crossword puzzles, attending/watching sporting events (harness racing; Blue Jays baseball) and also had a special passion for genealogy (many discussions with James Barrett III) and travel (many adventures with family and memorable Griswold moments too).
She was a wonderful hostess, cook and baker (best apple pie ever!), and a member of the Catholic Women's League (CWL) for several decades. Affectionately known by many as Hubbard, her gentle nature and also her sharp Irish wit were with her up to her final days. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Bedford (Godfrey, Ontario) on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 11:00 am. Rite of Committal at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Bedford. A luncheon reception will follow in Fogarty Hall. Please join us to share stories and remember a life well-lived.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Catholic Women's League (CWL), Sacred Heart of Jesus, Bedford would be appreciated by the family.
