He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his parents, Sampson Szapira and Mary Szapira; and his child Thomas Szapira. He is survived by: his children, Tony (Darlene), Andra Levack (Harold), Susan Davis (Keith) and Richard Webb (Madeleine); his grandchildren, Thomas and Tyler (Tabytha); his great grandchildren, Bryce and Claire; and his sister Anna Rasmussen (Bruce). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and extended family.
Memorial donations made to the Royal Canadian Legion #458 Tamworth or the Ontario SPCA Lennox and Addington Branch would be appreciated by the family.
