He was predeceased by : his spouse Jean Mills; his parents, Frank Mills and Dode Mills; his children, Kelly Vidito and Rob Mills; his brother Bill Mills; his parents-in-law, Elmer Donaldson and Laura Donaldson; and also, Neil Gowan, Della Hogan and Jim Donaldson (Peggy).

He is survived by : his children, Lynn Thede (Steve) of Saugeen Township and Randy Mills (Donnel) of Tara; his child-in-law Michael Vidito (Kim) of Woodstock; his grandchildren, Mitchell (Sarah), Danielle, Michelle and Kelly; his great grandchild Max; his sibling Brenda Funston (John) of Tara; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Mills (Ken McMeekin) of Allenford and Muriel Gowan of Allenford.
