He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Val McLean; his father Ken McMeekin of Tara; his sister Anne McMeekin of Collingwood; his children, Tanya McLean (Ryan) of Chesley, Jeff McLean (Rebecca) of Dobbinton and Suzie McLean (Mike) of Oliphant; his nephew Nathan; and his niece Melinda.
