He was predeceased by : his grandchild Lauren; his parents, Ada and Ernest; and his siblings, Lorna, Irene, Neil, Harvey, Shirley, Dora and Heather.

He is survived by : his wife Lenore; his children, Nancy Mino (Richard), Steven Horner (Lenore), Wendi Cochrane (Derek) and Philip Horner (Krista); his grandchildren, Eric (Lauren), Ashley (Jacob), Stephanie (Tyler), Tyler (Jill), Kate (Ben), Steven, Grace (Andrew), Jake and Riley; his great grandchildren, Clara, Samuel, Eleanor and Brenna; his sister Rilla (Mike); and his siblings-in-law, Keith Nelson and Betty Horner.
