It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Schmidt in Tavistock, Ontario, who passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Schmidt to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Sebastian Mink and Ava Mink; and her brother Josef Mink. She is survived by : her son Karl Schmidt (Pam) of Tavistock; her grandsons, David Schmidt of Montreal and Jeffery Schmidt (Angela Groot-Nibbelink) of Guelph; her great grandchildren, Vivian and Sophia Schmidt; and her sister Irma Kysly (Mink).
