He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pattenaude and Marie-Anne Pattenaude (Gagnon); and his sisters, Elisabeth Mailloux (late Charles) and Cécile Oriet (late Omer). He is survived by: his children, Dan (Annette), David (Marsha), Vic (Kelly) and Roger (Bev); his sibling Rose-Marie Gagnier (late Ludger); his grandchildren, Eric (Madison), Sara (Josh), Michael, Amanda, Casey, Noah, Charles and Kieran; his great grandchildren, Lyra, Kenley, Sandler, Cedric and Gideon; and his wife Laura (Dionne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
