She was predeceased by: her parents, Napoléon Leblanc and Lucia Leblanc (Gagnier); her former husband Luc Rivest; her siblings, Alida Zecman (late Gene), Albert Leblanc (late Jeanne), Florian Leblanc (late Mary Jane), Arcade Leblanc (Pauline), Thérèse Soullière, Robert Leblanc (Magella), Jérome Leblanc (Mildred) and Charles (late Jacqueline); her siblings-in-law, Kathleen Coté (late Clovis) and Laurencia Lajoie; Benny (late Louise), William (Betty), Donald, Harvey, Gerard Rivest, Julia Arbour, Maurice Rivest, Hector Rivest, Bertha Diemer, Anna Pinsonneault, Rene Rivest, Alice Blain and Theresa Sauve.

She is survived by: her husband Leo Whitehead; her daughters, Patricia Sparks (Clayt), Diane Boismier (Tom Tourangeau), Denise Rivest (Will Lewis), Deborah Hawkins (Al) and Sarah Whitson (Rob); her grandchildren, Clayton Sparks, Shawn Sparks, Brent Sparks (Cat), Kalvin Sparks, Christopher Woodrich, Jean Luc Woodrich (Sterling), Kyle Woodrich, Tim Woodrich, Mike Paonessa (Amber), Amanda Hawkins (Cameron), Robert Hawkins (Kate), Jennifer, Grace Hawkins, Jon Whitson (Courtney), Alex Whitson (Danielle) and Aimée Zuberbuhler; and her siblings, Ursula Soullière (Bob) and André Leblanc (Elaine). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 26th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anne's Parish (12233 Tecumseh Rd E, Tecumseh, ON N8N1M3).
