He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Hedley (Lorenz); his parents, Delbert Hedley and Joyce Hedley (Haldenby); his brother Paddy Hedley; his parents-in-law, Mel and Lillian Lorenz; and his siblings-in-law, Doug, Jim Lorenz and Bonnie Strauss.
He is survived by: his children, Mel Hedley, Chad Steffler, Mark Hedley, Brook Copland, Greg and Summer Hedley; his grandchildren, Naelynn Steffler, Everleigh, Hudson and Lane Hedley; his siblings, Kate (Kevin Howey), Beverley (John Visser), Debbie (Mike Smolenaars) and Karen (Rick McMurray); and his siblings-in-law, Wayne, Janet Lorenz, Cindy, Merv Schlorff, Kathy Lorenz, Delphine Lorenz and John Strauss.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
