He was predeceased by: his spouse Gysberta "Betty" Fieten; his parents, Willem Fieten and Hendrikje Fieten; his in-laws, Huibert and Riek Van Arkel; his siblings, Annie, Wim and Henny; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Tuhuteru, Jack Waters and Joyce Van Arkel.

He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Coutts (Dan) and Cindy Zondervan (Tony); his siblings, Hank (Elizabeth Fieten), John (Hennie Fieten), Hillie Tuhuteru and Wilma (Hans van den Bergh); his in-laws, Jan, Gerald Pebesma of Brampton, Ria, John Wilson of Manitoba, Herb Van Arkel of Caledon, Aveline and Dave Bailey of Brantford; and his child Jan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends.

Memorial donations to Salem United Church or the Teeswater Medical Centre would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
