He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanley Kennedy and Agatha Kennedy; and his siblings, Jerome Kennedy, Joe Kennedy, Eugene "Tim" Kennedy and Gertrude Beninger.

He is survived by : his children, Brenda Kennedy (Don), Dianne Leiskau (Richard Kavalo), Steve Kennedy (Tammy), Karen Schedewitz (Paul Fischer), John Kennedy (Ann Haley) and Brian Kennedy (Val Brady); and his sister Donelda Millen. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
