We are sad to announce that, on February 5, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Michael Wist (Teeterville, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his brothers, Adam (Audrey) and Joe (Ruth); and his sisters-in-law, RoseAnn Woodard (Bob) and Sandra Tice.

He is survived by: his children, Kathy Huffman (Rick) of Paris, Dan Wist of Sudbury and Jane Wist (Joe) of Teeterville; his grandchildren, Amanda Chalmers (Laurie), Bradley Huffman (Kandis Haas), Daniel "Jake" Herreman and Becca "Reba" Herreman (Jordon Kuipers); his great grandchildren, Cameron, Ashlin and Liam Chalmers; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Tice and Judy Tice.

Donations in memory of Mike, may be made to the Teeterville Royal Canadian Legion – Branch # 526 Poppy fund, gratefully appreciated.

“Mom (Betty Steiner) and I always enjoyed our visits to Mike in Paris. We had a lot of laughs, and enjoyed all his stories. When he and his wife Betty were a young couple, they would often visit with Betty and John(Steiner) as they were neighbours, and they would play cards and have a lot of fun. We even found out that Mike used to live in the very house on the farm that John and Betty bought! He truly was a special man, and we will both really miss him. Love Chris Nisan & Betty Steiner.”
