He is survived by : his wife Mary Thornton; his children, Jay Thornton (Cheryl), Brad Thornton, Alaina Robillard, Noah, Calleigh, James and Owen; his siblings, Aubrey Thornton (Cathy), David Thornton (Liz) and Margaret Garside (Dave); and his siblings-in-law, Elly Beer, Astrid Bowlby (Mark) and Henry Hegger (Tammy). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
