She was loved and cherished by many people including : her children, Annette, Greg Stewart, Theo, Mary, Barb, Mark, Hank, Sheryl, Marilyn and John Buren; her sister-in-law Mary; her sister Annie; her siblings-in-law, Theet and Annie (Joep); and her father Glen. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers and as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Homes for Hope-El Salvador would be appreciated by the family.
