It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Richardson of Thamesville, Ontario, born in Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on April 10, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Richardson and Elizabeth Richardson; and his sisters, Mary McFadden, Jane Sinclair and Annie White.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara; his children, Carrie Campbell (Randy), Michael Richardson, Brian Richardson and Robert Richardson; his grandchildren, Douglas, Glen, Matthew (Destiny), Joseph and Ericka; his great grandchildren, Mijj and Minni; and his sister-in-law Dianne Barnier (late Doug). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McKinlay Funeral Home (76 Main St E, Ridgetown, ON N0P2C0). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations made in memory of Chuck to the Turin United Church or the Chatham-Kent Hospice would be appreciated by the family.

When I think of Chuck I think also of John McFeggan and the story told of how Chuck's 3 mini horses gave those 2 big man such a ride when the horses decided they wanted to run and nothing was going to stop them, especially 2 men sitting in the little cart. May your happy memories of him sustain you in these days of adjustment and new beginnings. One of Chuck's cousins, Gloria Richardson Loyer living in Cumming Ga with husband Ben.”
