The memory of Heather K Hawken (Thamesville, Ontario), who passed away on July 21, 2025 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Tom Hawken; her brother-in-law Bill McKenzie; her parents, Lionel Freeman and Kay Freeman; her siblings, Sharon McKenzie and Lionel Freeman; her siblings-in-law, Jack Hawken and Marilyn Gill; and her in-laws, Jim and Mary Hawken.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Kingsbury (Chris) and Jon Hawken (Ginny); her grandchildren, Chloe, Ryan Kingsbury, Mallory and Eddie Hawken; and her friends, Karen Bosma and Leslie Lawrence. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or the Dresden Legion Branch 113, in honor of her joyful soul and the love she shared so freely.
