She was predeceased by : her parents, William Reginald and Oral Bell Gardiner (Smith); her son David; her brother Neil Gardiner (Annie); and her husband Allan Badder.

She is survived by : her children, Chuck (Bonnie), Lynn, Wayne (Connie), Neil (Kathy), Barbara Mallette (Ron), Brenda Love, Judy Pickard (John), Janet Johnson (Al), Cheryl McDonald (Carl), Doug (Sandra) and Jackie Badder (Carlyle). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
