Margaret Reed Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Reed (Thessalon, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Raymond (late Mary), Hazel (late Ross), Martha (late Dave) and Evelyn (late Jack); and her siblings-in-law, Ruby (late Waudby), Edna (late Garnet), Vera, Alvin (late Elvina) and Irvin (Doreen).
She is survived by: her husband Lloyd; her children, Dianne McAulay (Irvin), Pamela Reed and Kevin (Debbie); her grandsons, Jason (Kit), Bryan (Kim), Jeffrey (Ruth), Michael (Mary Lou), Matthew (Carissa), Jamie (Vanessa) and John; and her great grandchildren, Aaron, Ella, Rory, Cooper, Keegan, Hunter and Tai. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home (175 Main St, Thessalon, ON P0R1L0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Bellingham United Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Margaret can be made to Bellingham United Church or Golden Birches Terrace Residents Council.
