It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Murray Ronald Gardiner (Thessalon, Ontario), who passed away on May 10, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Cora; his children, Kim (Katie), Kirsten McIvor (late Dan), Shelley Rathwell (Sheldon), Brad McCaig (Rebecca), Vivian McCaig, Tom McCaig (Jodi) and Nancy Seabrook (Terry); his grandchildren, Carl, Clayton, Christina Gardiner (Tyler), Denise Graham (Jeff), Mathew, Michael Grigg (Brittany), Steven (Ange), Mark (Sarah), David Rathwell, Madison McCaig (Mitch), Darcee McCaig (David), Trish, Katie, Matti Kurkiniemi, Rebecca Deschamp (Randy), Ryan McCaig (Jamie), Mitchell (Taylor) and Victoria Seabrook (Justin); his parents, Percy Gardiner and Hattie Gardiner; his siblings, Jim (late Joy), Bill (late Lenora), Cal (late Jean), Shirley Flood (late Bill), Les (late Gloria) and Jack (Judy); his parents-in-law, Carl, Mae Haight, Lloyd and Edna Sturgeon; and his brother-in-law Raymond Sturgeon (Alice).
He is survived by: his spouse Gail; his siblings, Lorna Hagan (late Ronnie), Fay Pace (Jack) and Gary (Penny); and his siblings-in-law, Esther Leslie (Ken), Carolle Herrington (Mel), Brenda Leach (late Bob Walker), John Sturgeon (Tina), Alice Radley (Jim), Debbie McClelland (Wayne), Jennifer Lynne (late Don), Ted Sturgeon (late Mitzi) and Cyndy King (Kevin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
