Abe was predeceased by: spouse Naomi; and siblings-in-law, Menard Gertler, Coleman Gertler, David Gertler and Fred Cleman.
Abe is survived by: children-in-law, Philip, Lee, Michael and Joanie; siblings-in-law, Anna Gertler, Jane, Pauline and Sylvia; and grandchildren, William, Matthew, Betty, Daniel and Sarah. Abe is also survived by nieces and nephews.
