With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Americo Fernandes (Thornhill, Ontario), who passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Rosemary, Maria (Scott) and Americo (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Alexander (Kiersten), Taylor, Erik, Richard (Keanna), Melissa, Matthew (Skylar) and Kristine; and his siblings, Anibal, Olivia, Marcelino and Grasiela.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:15 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill, ON L3T3Z6). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
