She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Thomas Ferguson; her parents, Frederick Carrette and Jean Carrette; her daughters, Janet Popel (late Jon) and Nora Ferguson (Ken Scott); her grandchildren, Jonathan Popel (Peggy), Julianne Baran (Dan), James Popel (Stephanie), Bronwyn, Claire and Morgan Scott; and her great grandchildren, John, Anne, Jack Popel, Lisa Baran, Charlie and Blayre Popel. She was also cherished by friends and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
