It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol McGowen (Thornhill, Ontario), who passed away on December 22, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol McGowen to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Donald Velanoff; her children, David, Kelly (Bob), Janice (Alan), Drew (Andrea) and Michelle (Brian); her daughter-in-law Andrea; her former life partner Ken (Mary); her parents, Thomas McDermott and Theresa McDermott; and her siblings, Joanie, Paul, Donna, Cathy, Claire, Maureen, Rita, Bernie and Michael. She was also cherished by spouses, and her large extended family.
