She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Sally and Madison; her stepchildren, Tyler, Ciara and Dave; her siblings, Larry Birnbaum (Susan Gould), Roberta Birnbaum-Cohen (Sid Cohen) and Brian (Debra Bellevue); her parents, Lillian Birnbaum and Saul Birnbaum; and also Perry Birnbaum. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
