He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine; and his parents, Ruth Hinkley and Chuck Hinkley. He is survived by: his significant other Susan Horne; and his children, Stephen Hinkley (Terri) of Swedesboro, NJ and Julie Sutherland (Jeff) of Calgary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army—an organization that reflected his values—as well as to Friends of Ruby, Hospice Muskoka, Haven Toronto, or the Canadian Red Cross.
