He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine; and his parents, Ruth Hinkley and Chuck Hinkley. He is survived by: his significant other Susan Horne; and his children, Stephen Hinkley (Terri) of Swedesboro, NJ and Julie Sutherland (Jeff) of Calgary.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home (8088 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L4J1W3). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Thornhill United Church (25 Elgin St, Thornhill, ON L3T1W5).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army—an organization that reflected his values—as well as to Friends of Ruby, Hospice Muskoka, Haven Toronto, or the Canadian Red Cross.
