He was predeceased by: his parents, Francesco (Genoveffa De Miglio) and Cosenza. He is survived by: his significant other Theodora Streitwieser; his brothers, Rocco (Rosalinda) and Sergio (Carol); and his siblings' children, Jennifer (Edward), Sarah (Robert), Matthew (Kevin) and Mark (Laura).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honour of Joseph De Miglio can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
