He was predeceased by : his parents, Peter Shaykewich and Frances Shaykewich. He is survived by : his wife Halyna Davidovich; his siblings, Carl (Margaret), Walter (Linda) and Mary (Fred); his stepdaughter Oksana (Bohdan); his grandchildren, Arianna and Ruslan; and his nieces and nephews, David, Jennifer, Suzanne and Jonathan. He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations (in memoriam) may be made to World Central Kitchen (wck.org) to help feed the Ukrainian refugees in Poland fleeing from Russia's invasion.
