We announce the death of Maria Reiter (Thornhill, Ontario), who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 87. Maria will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Maria will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Maria will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Maria’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: husband: Mathias; children: Siegfried, Norbert, Manfred and Gerhard; and grandchildren, family, relatives and friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Chapel of St. Joseph.
