He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Orr and Constance Orr (Murrell); and his brother Stephen. He is survived by : his daughter Diana (Joseph); his grandchildren, Benjamin and Thomas; and his sisters, Wendy (Nestor), Isabel and Jane (Bob).

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations to be made to the LOFT Community Service program (loftcs.org), specifically for the St. Anne's Place and John Gibson House.
