He was predeceased by: his son Barry McEwen (Alyson McEwen). He is survived by: his wife Iris; his daughters, Jeanine Hanlon and Marilyn Valente (Mario Valente); his grandchildren, Dawn Fay (William Fay), Lisa Hanlon (Yvonne Wells), Patrick Hanlon (Shelley Hillman), Ryan Valente (Grace Valente), Amber Martin (Jeff Martin) and Brandon Valente (Michelle Valente); and his great grandchildren, Grace Fay, Kayla Valente, Jackson Martin, Lily Martin, Camden Martin, Ace Valente, Mackenzie Valente, Brooklyn Valente and Kingsley Valente.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of St. Joseph at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill, ON L3T3Z6).
