Risto Sakari Aaltonen Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Risto Sakari Aaltonen (Thornhill, Ontario), who passed away on September 1, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Aarre Aaltonen; and his brother Pekka Aaltonen. He is survived by : his spouse Eija Aaltonen; his daughters, Katariina Taylor (David Taylor) and Kristiina Hudson (Luke Hudson); his grandchildren, Ainsley Taylor and Lorelei Hudson; his mother Gretta; his sister Raija; and his niece Sari Kokko.

A private service will be held for family, as a result of Covid restrictions, on Sunday September 12th at the Agricola Finnish Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers the family asks you to consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Society.
