He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Irene; his siblings, Marguerite Scheffer (Rufus) and Tristram; and his former wife May.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ivor (Naomi) and Therese Jansz (Wilhelm); his sister-in-law Josephine; his stepsons, Edgar and Christopher Wijayaratnam; his grandchildren, Gavin, Warren, James and Christian; his cousin Esther Brohier; his nieces and nephews, Cedric (Rosemary), Marion (Trevor), Deborrah, Denham, Gillian (Mike), Tamara, Michael (Corrine), Travis, Dallas, Gawain and Melissa (Christopher); and his caregivers, Dr. Hussein, Micah and Anna.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill, ON L3T3Z6). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L3T 2C7).
