He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Molly and Luke; his parents, Friedrich and Josefine; and his sisters, Elfi, Maria and Christl.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Sue Weiprecht (late Uli), Rick (Colleen) and Karen Sammutt (Toby); and his grandchildren, Jake, Cadence, Rylee and Trista.
