She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Huizenga; and her grandchildren, Abigail Huizenga, Everett and Luca Segger (late Savannah Segger). She is survived by: her children, Tildy Sportel (George), Rita Segger (Alfred), Jacqueline Luinstra (Sam) and Jack Huizenga (Patricia); and her grandchildren, Eric, Carrie, Michael Sportel, Rhianne, Zachary Segger (Chelsea), Pete, Stephanie Luinstra, Benjamin and Jonathan Huizenga (late Katlyn Sportel).

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Immanuel United Reformed Church (2900 Fourth Ave, Lincoln, ON L0R1S0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Heritage Christian School, Jordan Station, would be appreciated by the family.
