She was predeceased by: her parents, Walt Groves and Pearl Groves; her siblings, Eddie and Connie; and her nephew Billy Davidson.
She is survived by: her spouse Hugh "Alex"; her children, Eric MacDonald (Jessica Tyrell) and Jennifer MacDonald (Dareck Stevenson); her grandchild Anna Stevenson; and her sisters, Patricia Zimolag and Bernadette Bromhall.
Memorial donations in memory of Bonnie, may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
